In 1983, Hong Kong Hoven Chemicals Industry Co., Ltd was founded in Hong Kong
In 1990, Hoven Chemicals Industry Limited of Hong Kong stationed in the Chinese mainland, set up the Shenzhen Hoven Paint Company, formally began to manufacture interior and exterior latex paints, which became one of China's earliest latex paint manufacturers.
In 1991, Shenzhen SAT Chemicals Co., Ltd. established to produce printing auxiliaries.
In 1991, Shantou Hoven paint Co., Ltd established to produce hydrophobic acrylic coatings and polyurethane coatings meanwhile established the chemical laboratory.
In 1995, Hoven began to produce antiseptic paint products widely used in large bridges, ships, oil pipelines, storage and civilian facilities.
From 1998, Hoven began to manufacture industrial floor paint, plastic paint and adhesives.
From 2001, Hoven began to produce heat-insulating coating and fluorocarbon coating.
